  • What is EquiFinds?

EquiFinds is a marketplace for new and secondhand items for the equestrian and western lifestyle enthusiast.  Shop from a variety of personal and business vendors — and start selling too! EquiFinds is designed to make online buying and selling safer and easier than ever.  We provide a trusted place to buy and sell saddles, tack, bits, clothing, boots, jewelry, therapy products, and more! There’s no EquiFinds distribution center – just like-minded people in the equine industry selling the things they have created, no longer need, or goods straight out of their store. We help make the whole process easy while protecting both buyer and seller.  Let EquiFinds take the worry and hassle out of buying and selling online!

  • What are the fees for selling on EquiFinds?

With a Personal Vendor Space, it is FREE to list all items.  When an item sells, we charge an 8% seller protection fee. You keep the rest. We also offer a FEATURED VENDOR OPTION with increased visibility and benefits on a monthly fee base of $12.99/month.  Once you see how simple and easy selling is on EquiFinds, you will fall in love with the ease of use and protection from those dreaded scams. Sell what you have in your tack room or closet so you can earn extra cash for entry fees, horses, or shopping for what you REALLY need.

Already own a tack store or other western industry storefront? Maybe you don’t have your own website for online ordering yet, or just want to attract more business?  A Vendor Space on EquiFinds  enables you to reach more customers and streamline your order process.  Don’t be restricted by business hours, sell at any time online.  We provide  you with a pre-paid pre-addressed shipping label, and will serve as your customer support team for your sale, including our Return & Refund Policy.  

  • What are the shipping rates?

We offer greatly reduced shipping fees integrated through our App and Website.  For each transaction, the buyer pays shipping fees. When you make a sale on EquiFinds, we provide the seller with a pre-paid, pre-addressed label ready to be put on the box. Once the sale has been packaged, the seller can drop it off at a USPS mailbox or even have it picked up for free from their home! Shipping has never been so easy.

  • What does Accepting Offers mean?

When a seller lists an item, they have the option of setting a ‘bottom dollar.’  If you would like to make an offer on an item, select the percentage discount or dollar amount you would like to offer.  If that amount is within the limit of the seller’s set minimum price, the item will automatically be added to your cart for purchase at that price.  If the amount is not within the seller’s set minimum price, you will be notified that the offer wasn’t accepted.  

  • Can I trust buying and selling on EquiFinds?

Absolutely!  With our integrated payment protection, you can be assured you receive your purchase as described before any money is released to the seller.  For sellers, we receive the buyers payment when the purchase is made and hold it in a neutral account.  As soon as the buyer receives the item and approves it within 3 days, the money is yours!

  • What is the Return Policy?

We take an active role in each and every purchase made to ensure both the buyer and seller have a great experience. A buyer may open a case with us if they don’t receive their item or the item they receive is not as described within the listing. Returns are NOT offered for Fit Issues, No Longer Wanting The Item or Delayed Delivery.  If the buyer receives an item that is not as described within the listing, is sent the wrong item, or is in some other way not as described, the buyer can report their problem to us within 3 days of delivery through the app or on the web. When a case is opened, the buyer is asked to upload photos and offer details of the item. If the return is verified, we assist the buyer in returning the item to the seller and offer them a refund.  To avoid a problem with a sale, we advise sellers to be as descriptive and detailed as possible when creating listings. We encourage buyers to review the listing photos, description, and item condition, and if you have any questions, please ask for additional details, measurements, or photos.

  • What should I do if someone asks me to take a transaction offline?

Purchasing or selling an item listed on EquiFinds using any means other than EquiFinds checkout is considered an offline transaction and is prohibited.  You are also at a great risk of being scammed if you are asked to buy or sell the item outside of EquiFinds.

  • When do I get paid for a shipped order?

Once your buyer receives the item(s), they have 72 hours from the delivery time to confirm everything is as described.  After 72 hours, the sale is final and payment is issued to the seller. If the purchase is not as described, the buyer may be eligible to return the item within 72 hours of delivery in accordance with our Return and Refund Policies.  To keep both the buyer and seller safe, we recommend that all communication takes place through our app or website. Do not share personal or financial information for online transactions.

  • Does EquiFinds ship outside the US?

We currently provide shipping to the US and Canada.
