Welcome to EquiFinds! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, EquiFinds.shop/EquiFinds.com, our services, and participation in any events, including online auctions. By accessing or using EquiFinds, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Use of Our Services
- You agree to provide accurate, complete information when registering or participating.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
- EquiFinds acts as a platform to connect buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee the safety or legality of items listed.
2. General Terms

EquiFinds is an online marketplace connecting customers and sellers of western gear, tack, apparel, and related items.

By creating an account or using the platform, all users (customers and vendors) agree to comply with these Terms & Policies.

EquiFinds reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Updates will be posted, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Vendor & Listing Policies

Vendors are responsible for accurately describing all products, including condition, sizing, and any defects.

Listings must comply with all applicable laws and EquiFinds’ community standards.

Vendors must maintain updated inventory. Once an item sells, it must be shipped promptly according to the stated shipping timeline.
4. Sales & Transactions

Minimum Accepted Amount (Bottom Dollar)

Vendors are given the option to set a minimum accepted amount (“bottom dollar”) for each product listing.

If a buyer offers this amount or more, the offer will be automatically accepted without requiring additional vendor approval.

Commission on Minimum Accepted Amount

All product sales are subject to a 10% commission fee, which is deducted from the final sale price.

Vendors must factor this commission into their minimum accepted amount to ensure their desired net earnings. (Example: To net $900, a vendor should set their minimum accepted amount at $1,000.)

Immediate Processing of Sales

All sales that meet or exceed the minimum accepted amount will be immediately processed.

Upon processing, funds are securely collected from the buyer, and the vendor will be notified to fulfill and ship the order according to EquiFinds’ shipping policies.

Binding Transactions

Once an offer meets or exceeds the minimum accepted amount, the sale is final, binding, and cannot be canceled by the vendor.

Vendor Responsibility

It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure that their minimum accepted amount reflects their desired net proceeds after commission and any applicable fees.
5. Payment & Payouts

EquiFinds uses a secure, bank-grade payment processor for all transactions.

Vendors must connect a payout account within their Vendor Dashboard to receive earnings.

Payouts are held in a secure, neutral account and are issued to the seller according to our standard schedule after the buyer receives and accepts the item.
5. Returns & Refunds

All vendors must comply with the EquiFinds Return & Refund Policy:

Buyers have 72 hours from delivery to submit a claim for damaged or misrepresented items and must provide significant proof of issues including photos.

Returns are not accepted for reasons such as “Changed Mind,” “Item Didn’t Fit,” or shipping delays.

Refunds will only be issued upon confirmation of an approved return.
6. Shipping & Fulfillment

Vendors are responsible for shipping items promptly.

All items must be shipped within the timeframe stated on the listing.

Vendors who repeatedly fail to fulfill orders in a timely manner may face account suspension or removal from the platform.
7. Buyer Responsibilities & Conduct

Buyers are expected to review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Buyers must provide accurate shipping information at checkout.

Abusive behavior, harassment of vendors, or false claims of non-receipt, misrepresentation, or item condition may result in account suspension or removal.

Chargebacks or fraudulent payment activity will result in immediate investigation and possible account termination.

Buyers are prohibited from attempting to circumvent EquiFinds’ payment system or negotiating purchases off-platform.
8. Dispute Resolution

EquiFinds will mediate disputes between buyers and vendors when necessary.

Buyers and vendors are expected to maintain open communication and provide any requested documentation or evidence to support their claims.

EquiFinds reserves the right to make a final determination in disputes and enforce corrective actions, which may include issuing refunds, removing listings, or suspending accounts.
9. Prohibited Conduct

Fraudulent listings, false information, abusive behavior, and attempts to conduct transactions outside of EquiFinds are strictly prohibited.

Violations may result in account suspension, removal from the platform, forfeiture of funds, and/or legal action.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on EquiFinds, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by EquiFinds or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
11. Disclaimers
- EquiFinds is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- We are not responsible for any damages arising from your use of the platform.
